Similar to human healthcare, there is a difference between an emergency room animal hospital (ER) and an urgent care animal hospital.
An emergency vet is required for life threatening conditions, overnight intensive care, and most surgical needs. You should take your pet to an emergency vet for life-threatening emergencies such as:

- Bloat/GDV
- Cardiac Arrest
- Choking
- Collapse or Loss of Consciousness
- Distressed Mother in Labor
- Excessive Bleeding

When Your Pet Needs a 24 Hour Emergency Veterinary Clinic
If your pet is experiencing any of the above conditions, it would be best to bring your pet to an emergency animal hospital or 24 hour emergency vet. These emergency veterinary clinics provide exceptional emergency veterinary care for your pet.
If, upon your pet's arrival to Pet Urgent Care of Enterprise, it is determined that they require more extensive care than we are equipped to provide, assessment and stabilization will be offered as well as directing you and your pet to a full-service ER or referral hospital depending on diagnostic needs.
